Rob Robinson and Stevie Strings

We went down to Myakka River last week. The sight had been booked in advance and it just happened to be the coldest night of the year.  I wanted cold and I got it. Rob Robinson, Stevie Strings, Stacey Brown Jr, and a guy that had a recent Bigfoot sighting in Myakka River State Park were part of this effort. It was good to see the guys again and I was very excited about the weekend coming up. Unfortunately, I would only be able to stay Friday night. I had to get back to Tampa for work. That situation should be changing for the better. More on that latter.

The swamp area we picked was once an Indian homestead centuries ago. My understanding is that paranormal groups have come out here to research at night. That is exactly what we had in mind. This may explain the apparition that appeared in the FLIR late night. More on that coming up

I'm glad they knew the way. I use to live in Sarasota county back in the 1980's but its been a while to remember all the back roads.

I am excited because its been a while since I've gone camping. I got my gear and ready to head out.
